Siberian Cat Price: What Named Breeders Actually Charge

Every figure on this page comes from a named cattery's own pricing page or a named live marketplace, read on 17 August 2026. Prices move; treat these as that day's photograph, not a promise. And this breed hides the most unusual pricing pattern we have found on any cat. In two different countries, some breeders price kittens not by color, but by the kitten's TESTED allergen level.

United States: a tight cluster around $2,000 to $2,900

Nine named catteries publish a headline price, and six of the seven flat-rate ones land inside one $850 band. Kiss From A Rose in Colorado at $1,950 ($2,150 for "breed quality"). Willow Springs in Pennsylvania at a flat $2,000 (paid in three installments, not three charges). Sapphire Siberian Kittens at $2,000-2,500 by eye color and pattern. Royal Grace at a flat $2,500.

Keuka Ridge in New York and Siberian Cat Life both at $2,800. And Spellbound in Texas at $2,900 plus sales tax. Independent guide articles corroborate the band and stretch it at both ends, roughly $1,200 to $4,000 across the market. Rescue runs far below any of that: roughly $50 to $400 where a figure is stated at all, with purebred Siberians rare in rescue.

The allergen-tier pattern, found in two countries

Lundberg Siberians in Oregon prices by the kitten's measured Fel d 1 chart result. $2,000 for a normal/untested kitten, $2,800 medium, $3,800 low, $5,000 very low, and $6,400 for extremely low. That is more than a threefold spread on one cattery's card, driven entirely by a saliva test. And this is not one cattery's quirk: Martin Siberians in Quebec independently runs the same structure, C$3,990 untested, rising through four tested tiers to C$5,990 for the lowest-allergen kittens. Two countries, one pattern. The breed's hypoallergenic reputation has a literal price schedule. Before paying a tier premium, read what that testing does and does not establish.

United Kingdom: a live-market read, not a guide figure

The UK's specialist breed club publishes no price schedule, so the UK figure comes from the live market. On the day we sampled Pets4Homes, 69 Siberian kittens were listed. The 24 individually priced purebred listings ran £390 to £2,800, most between £500 and £1,600. The £2,800 top listing was explicitly GCCF-registered active breeding stock, not a pet kitten. The sub-£400 tail was crossbreeds and rehomes, which we excluded from the purebred band.

Canada: three provinces, three shapes

NEVAKAZ in Ontario publishes a flat C$1,500 including first veterinary procedures, the lowest named-cattery figure in our four-market research. Siberian Tale in Edmonton charges C$2,500 plus 5 percent GST (C$2,625 total, stated GST-exclusive by the cattery itself). Martin Siberians in Quebec runs the allergen tiers above. And one BC cattery's page told us a price exists without ever rendering it: "The average cost of a kitten starts from $." with no digits, a live template defect we report as found. Four further CCA-AFC-registered catteries publish no price at all.

Australia: dearer, and stated without tax

Two named registered catteries publish prices, both explicitly GST-exclusive. Miakoschka in Queensland (Australia's first Siberian cattery, founded 2003) at A$3,500 plus GST (A$3,850 total). Snowgum in Sydney at A$4,500 plus GST for a Siberian, A$5,000 plus GST for a Neva Masquerade: the cleanest documented price premium for the colorpoint variety anywhere in our research. Two catteries is a thin sample. We state the figures for what they are, not as an Australian market average.

What no registry will tell you

Neither TICA nor CFA publishes a kitten price for any breed. TICA's "price list" is an association fee schedule, and CFA's $20-25 figure is a registration fee. A page or seller quoting a "registry price" is quoting paperwork, not a cat.

Finding a breeder, per market

The directories worth knowing, each with its own honesty note. US: TICA's Browse All Breeders and CFA's Find-a-Breeder list catteries by name; a listing is an advertisement, not an endorsement. UK: the Siberian Cat Club runs a region-by-region directory and says itself that it "does not endorse any of the breeders listed." Canada: CCA-AFC's directory (six Siberian breeders at our read) carries the registry's own no-responsibility disclaimer.

Australia: ACF's directory filters by Siberian, while ANCATS's Find-a-Breeder tool still says "THIS FUNCTIONALITY IS COMING SOON," a finding now confirmed across two different breed runs on this site. Everywhere: about half the reputable catteries we read publish NO price at all, discussing it only after a conversation. That practice split is normal in pedigreed cats and says nothing about legitimacy either way.
