Siamese Cat Price: What the Sellers Publish, Market by Market
US catteries run flat $1,000-3,500, UK registered listings cluster £500-1,300, Canada spreads $450-1,600, and Australia publishes exactly one price. Read August 2026.

Read 17 August 2026 from the sellers' own pages. One rule holds in all four markets: no cattery prices by color. And the old "$300 to $1,500" range that still circulates is stale folklore no named cattery approaches.
United States: flat pricing is the local custom
Three named catteries publish flat, no-tier prices, and the spread between THEM is the market. Rosebuds Siamese (Indiana) sits at a flat $1,000. Sunshine Cattery sits at a flat $1,500 (its price list dated to this month). Blue Eyes Cattery (Maryland) sits at an all-inclusive $3,500 that its own page itemises (spay/neuter included, which it notes vets charge $600-800 for separately).
TiaMaria (Siamese and Balinese) publishes the one banded range: $1,400-1,800, rare kittens to $2,000. Two further named catteries publish no price at all. Siamese-specific rescue runs $300-400 at the two breed rescues with published schedules. That is well above the ordinary shelter fee ( NYC suggests $150), consistent with the breed carrying a premium even in rescue.
United Kingdom: registration is the price line
The live Pets4Homes sample (25 priced listings read of 44) splits cleanly on one axis. -registered litters clustered £500 to £1,300. Unregistered, crossbred or "no papers" listings clustered £100 to £450, with the sellers themselves saying why ("no papers hence price"). A named UK breeder-author with 25 years in the breed puts reputable GCCF-registered pet kittens at £1,000-1,200. He states the red flag in his own words: £200-400 kittens are "almost certainly unregistered, missing essential health testing, missing vaccinations." The site's own evergreen FAQ (£400-600) undersells its own registered listings. UK rule: the paperwork IS the price, and the cheap listing is cheap for a reason.
Canada: the widest named-cattery spread we have measured
Four named catteries, two provinces, one 3.5-to-1 spread. ZhenZhen Quing (Strathroy, ON) sits at $450 CAD, the lowest named-cattery figure in any market this run. Blue Sapphire (BC) averages $1,200. Siamese Blues (Kitchener, ON) sits at $1,500. Simon Says (Vancouver Island, traditional seal-point specialist) sits at $1,600. We print all four with their names rather than an average that describes none of them. The spread is the market's honest shape: Canadian Siamese pricing depends on the cattery's own program far more than on the cat.
Australia: one published price, stated as such
Single source, in bold, per our own floor rule: Sharelia Siamese (Sydney, Cats NSW-registered) prices desexed kittens at a flat $2,500 AUD, including registration, , first vaccination, and a kitten pack. Six further named catteries across three states publish no price at all: price-on-application is this market's norm. One stale metadata-only figure we found elsewhere did not meet the bar. No AU range is published, because one reliable figure is not a range.
The paperwork fact that moves prices
's own Colorpoint Shorthair page states that classic-colored kittens born in Colorpoint litters, being unshowable, "may be available at lower prices". That is the one registry-documented discount in the Siamese family, and it is about SHOW ELIGIBILITY, not color (the red point page explains the two-breed split). No registry publishes a Siamese price; 's and CFA's pages were both re-checked directly.

Usually paperwork: the UK sample's cheap cluster is explicitly unregistered or crossbred by the sellers' own words, and a veteran UK breeder calls £200-400 kittens a warning sign for missing testing and vaccinations.
Do Siamese prices vary by color?
Not at any cattery we read in four markets. The one documented discount is CFA's own: unshowable classic-colored kittens from Colorpoint Shorthair litters may sell for less. Show eligibility, not color.
How much is it to adopt a Siamese?
Breed-specific rescues with published schedules run $300-400 in the US; general shelters run lower ($150 suggested at ASPCA NYC, £80-120 at Cats Protection, A$270 kitten at RSPCA NSW).
