And one of our four markets is not thin but EMPTY, confirmed more thoroughly than any absence in our files. Here is what actually exists, sourced and dated.

The richest price source anywhere is a single identified seller: Olga Makarova (Scio Township, Michigan). Her GoKitty history spans 13 listings across nearly a year, sold and current, from $450 (pet kittens) to $1,700 (a current show-potential female). That is a real ladder from one operation, rather than an aggregated guess. Above it sits one broker listing at $2,550 (its own embedded product data).
Two further named catteries confirmed zero live inventory. One open oddity is flagged rather than resolved: two Michigan operations share close geography and a near-identical kitten name across their histories. A lead we note, not a fact we assert. Neither nor publishes prices (CFA does not even keep a separate breed page: Kuril imports fold into its Japanese Bobtail registry).
United Kingdom and Canada: one source each, said plainly
The UK is single-source: Pets4Homes' own FAQ states £500-2,500, and the same platform held two live listings at our check. That is the only real UK price content found (two further UK platforms confirmed zero). Canada is single-source too: one dated Kijiji listing at CA$1,200 (Longueuil, Quebec). Its French text cites champion parents at an acronym registry we could not independently confirm, so we quote no expansion. 's own directory confirms two further named advertisers: recognition without published prices.
Australia: the most thorough zero in our files
No Australian market exists, and we checked harder than for any breed before. Every live marketplace was blocked or empty across every door. and both confirm zero presence (ACF does not list the breed in any tier at all). Even the compiled guide sites that carried fallback figures for the Manx and Japanese Bobtail return flat 404s here. An Australian buyer is planning an international import, full stop.
The import fact no competitor page states
The breed's route matters to any import budget. As a natural breed, a documented-origin cat can be registered through a three-judge-panel review WITHOUT an ancestry . That is a real cost-and-process factor if you are considering a Kuril-region import rather than a Western-bred kitten.
