Burmilla coat colors and patterns
The name IS the coat: a pale ground tipped or shaded in one of eight base colors (TICA's list), over the signature painted-on eyeliner. The structure underneath is the page's real story. CFA cuts the spectrum at ~1/8 (Chinchilla) and ~1/3 (Shaded) across Silver and Golden divisions. CCA-AFC runs THREE degrees, including Smoke. ACF names its lightest class Tipped. And GCCF, the founding registry, refuses to draw any line at all, judging tipped-to-shaded as one continuous spectrum. Same litter, different labels, depending on the paperwork.
