Dragon Li coat colors and patterns
One color, and the standard is strict about it. Brown mackerel tabby is the ONLY recognized color and pattern in CFA's (now-lapsed) standard, class codes 0510/0511, no AOV, no outcrosses. A DISQUALIFY clause excludes white paws, a white muzzle, and white anywhere beyond the eyes, nostrils, chin and upper throat. Which makes the breed's public image its best correction. The most-reused public photo of this breed (Wikipedia's own infobox cat, 'Pipi', used across at least five language editions) shows a white chest and white front paws, exactly what the standard disqualifies. Our hero photo was checked against the standard's own clause before publication. Our gallery keeps one non-compliant photo deliberately, labeled, as the teaching example.
