How to recognize it
Broad flat flowers with three petals and three sepals, one petal formed into a lip, carried along an arching stem above a few thick strap-shaped leaves and pale aerial roots.
Sold as: Moth orchid, Moon orchid. A label on a pot is a trade name, not a botanical one, and the two often disagree.
